EDI onboarding- Black Forest decor

Black Forest Decor is improving their trading process through an electronic trading initiative aimed to enhance and strengthen the relationships with its supplier community. As a part of this initiative, suppliers are required to exchange messages electronically via electronic data interchange (EDI). Provided below is all the necessary information your organization will need for onboarding and testing. IS PARTICIPATION IN THE EDI PROCESS MANDATORY?

Yes – All suppliers are expected to exchange all of the documents listed above electronically with Black Forest Decor. Moving forward this will be a pre-requisite of continued trading with Black Forest Decor. For suppliers who do not have an EDI capability, a web portal solution is available and will allow you to fulfill your electronic trading requirements.

We will work alongside your organization and/or EDI provider to ensure all documents meet Black Forest Decor EDI compliance standards. Our dedicated implementation resource will be your organization’s primary point of contact for all technical and EDI business process questions.

For vendors with an existing EDI solution

Vendors who currently do not have an EDI solution

For organization’s who currently do not have an EDI solution in place or are unable to meet the Black Forest Decor requirements with their current EDI provider a web portal is available. TrueCommerce will provide user access and training for all mandated documents.

Organization’s with an existing EDI solution through an in-house or third party EDI provider will need to complete EDI document testing through TrueCommerce. After testing is completed, production traffic will continue to be validated & traded with Black Forest Decor via TrueCommerce.

Finalize your organization’s testing commitment and return the completed questionnaire.

Compliance testing will kick-off with portal suppliers once the login to the portal has been sent.

Specifications are listed below, enabling your organization and/or third party EDI provider to review and begin mapping ASAP. It is Black Forest Decor’s goal that suppliers complete testing and obtain a go-live date within 8 weeks from questionnaire completion.
